The clubhouse has a large kitchen, gym, lending library, game tables, two outdoor pools and a spa. It is Wi-Fi accessible and the password can be obtained by asking a front desk associate.

Weekday hours are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. year-round. Weekend hours are 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.    Residents may rent the clubhouse for private events and the maximum capacity is 108. See the office for details or a rental application.

LIBRARY

The Nepenthe library is located in the clubhouse. Books are donated by homeowners and may be borrowed and returned on the honor system. Fiction and non-fiction. Hardback and paperback. Come in and grab a book!

FITNESS CENTER

The gym/fitness center is located in the clubhouse and is open from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily for the use of residents and their guests. It is equipped with two treadmills, an elliptical machine, a stair climber, two types of stationary bicycle and a weight machine. Residents must accompany their guests at all times. If you see a problem with maintenance of the gym, call the manager at (916) 929-8380 or utilize the easy-to-fill out form found here.

KEYS

The clubhouse is open for use during business hours. The pools and gym require the use of an electronic access key. Each resident may obtain a key specifically assigned to them and registered with their photo on file. There is a $10 deposit for this key and a $25 replacement fee if lost. All key deposits are payable by check or with credit card. Guests generally have the same rights and responsibilities as homeowners. Guests must be accompanied by their hosts when they use the pools, spas, gym or tennis courts. Residents, whether owners or renters, are responsible for educating their guests about Nepenthe’s rules.

SMOKING

The clubhouse and cabanas are no-smoking areas. We depend on each other to show consideration for our neighbors. If your neighbor’s smoking bothers you, or if he complains about your smoking, try to work out an amicable solution. Nepenthe does not have the authority or resources to resolve all personal disputes.
